5 Amazing Episodes

Joining Flip in the first episode is Lily Tomlin, fresh from her popularity on "Laugh-In". Next, Bobby Darin appears in a skit involving the reunion of old schoolmates who collide in the most unlikely fashion. No Flip Wilson show would be complete without an appearance by Geraldine, who flirts mercilessly with Mohammed Ali.

In the second episode, the audience is treated to the latest chapter of Freddie Johnson's life as Jim Brown plays the angry brother of the woman Freddie wants to get into bed. In the next skit, Geraldine delivers a bucket of chicken to a most annoyed Brown. Also featured is a classic Johnny Cash performance showcasing Flip playing an instrument all his own.

Flip and Johnny Mathis open the third episode by showcasing their dogs in a toe-tapping duet about the zoo. Next, Joe Namath gets a crash course in exercise from Geraldine, and George Carlin joins Flip in a satirical pre-Saturday Night Live news segment.

For the fourth episode, basketball player Bill Russell makes his comic debut with Flip as the discuss the do's and don'ts of shooting pool. The hot comedy team of Stiller & Meara show up to poke fun at the problems associated with answering machines. Finally. Paul and Linda McCartney sing their version of "Mary Had A Little Lamb".
