One day a group of elite global terrorists, led by the violent Van Guilder (Matthias Hues), assault the bookstore in an attempt to assassinate Grey. Jennifer is awed by the commando skills of her father as he fights off the terrorists. Pursued by the terrorists, Grey retreats to his secret, well-established fallback position where he meets up with his old love Marianna (Elizabeth Giordino) with whom he had an affair after the death of his wife. Grey was an American spy working in Eastern Europe who cracked a smuggling ring led by Van Guilder under the direction of a man known only as Control Five (Robert Vaughn). Grey's original boss in the secret underworld was Control Five, who worked as a double agent and was the leader of the terrorists whom Grey put in prison. Now Control Five, out of prison looks for revenge against Grey. Grey, Marianna and Jennifer retreat to an abandoned missile manufacturing warehouse and take the last stand against Control Five and the dark powerful forces he commands.
