To get some answers, Miyako goes on ahead to the BPL facility, which is supposed to be researching alternative food sources for humanity, and is horrified by what she sees. When the rest of the team arrives, they have to fight for their lives against some genetically engineered monsters. And among them is - Chandy? The entire facility has now become the province of Algernon. Betterman comes to the rescue, but even he is thwarted by the evil creations of this place. But just when it all looks lost, a new hope shines in the darkness. It's another Betterman?
