A war of passion

The alien attacks continue and the soldiers of the elite anti-alien unit 'Funeral' are called out to defend the Earth time and time again. Due to the constant stress, tensions begin to mount. Ryu and Dan's dislike for one another explodes and lands them both in the brig.

Some of the members don't like the idea of using Hattie, who is just a child, to control their alien secret weapon. Is it right to use a child to control a weapon? And after its previous escape, the alien's reliability is questioned and additional measures to control him are taken.

Hattie, frightened and confused by what's going on, runs away. All of Funeral is scrambled to locate her. She is finally found. However, even after she is returned to Funeral headquarters, she does not feel safe.

And finally, during a particularly difficult battle, Ryu figures out how to stop a new breed of alien. And during that brief moment, he reverts to his former personality, Takuto. Is he really committed to his goal of revenge?
