You may know of him as an author, or a syndicated columnist. He's been called, "This generation's Mark Twain", but what Lewis Grizzard is famous for, is his blue collar humor.
Lewis Grizzard died on March 20, 1994. He was 47. During his short lifetime he wrote 20 books and over 8,000 nationally syndicated columns. He recorded seven comedy tapes and performed over 1,100 concerts from coast to coast.
