Available for the first time: the complete Ben Folds Five Sessions At West 54th show!
On June 9, 1997, Ben Folds Five was one of the first guests to appear on a new series called Sessions At West 54th. Having just recently released their second album, Whatever and Ever Amen, the band recorded one of their best lives sets for the critically acclaimed series. Of course, due to the show's 1/2 hour time constraint, only a handful of the songs BFF recorded ever made it to air - but now, for the first time, you can see the band's performance in its entirety. As an added bonus, this DVD features the complete and long-unavailable Spare Reels footage: a 45-minute film which contains, as was written at the time. "live performances and weird scenes from around the world and an intimate look at Ben Folds Five during the studio sessions for their new album, The Unauthorized Biography Of Reinhold Messner."
"[Sessions at West 54th] may be the best contemporary music show ever." - New York Magazine
