Angelique takes us to voodoo priests, the ancestral home were she grew up, the slave trade embarkation port called point of no return, the Temple of Pythons, and markets were women rule in Benin's matriarchal society. And Regardless of how many other musical and cultural forces we hear in her music, we have a better appreciation for the African sole at it's heart.

Includes performances of some of Angelique's most popular songs- Agolo, Malaika, Shango, The Sound of the Drums, her version of Summertime and much more!
