The fate of the country rests on one man and his sword.

From legendary action director Ching Siu Tung (A Chinese Ghost Story, Dragon Inn, The Duel, and the Jet Li Blockbuster Hero) comes this dazzling martial arts/swordplay extravaganza! Whoever that retrieves the legendary Book of Tai from the first Ming Emperor's tomb will conquer China. To get the book, however, one must first obtain the three keys that open the tomb. This leads to a battle between the Japanese Samurai and the Evil East Chamber Eunuch Tsao, who trains his student into an assassin and whose sole purpose is to get the keys and kill those who are in his way.

Starring Taiwanese pop idol Nicky Wu and Vicki Zhao from Shaolin Soccer, and filled with eye-popping fights and Ching's trademark knockout action, The Assassin Swordsman is one slashing kung fu adventure you don't want to miss!
