Songwriter and singer Judy Collins is a living legend. For nearly 40 illustrious years, her dulcet tones have graced our ears, and her poetic lyrics galvanized a generation. She has released more than 30 albums, has had numerous top ten hits, Grammy nominations and gold and platinum selling albums. In this concert special, taped June 18th, 2000, at the venerable Virginia outdoor auditorium where she has appeared regularly for decades, Collins performs many of her hits and several memorable interpretations. During the concert, Collins takes the audience through her own personal journey into the nation's social and musical conscience. With her memorable interpretations of the music of Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Steven Sandheim, as well as the spiritual and folk traditions and her own biographical compositions, Collins leaves her audience with an intimate portrait of herself the artist, humanitarian, songwriter and performer.

Songs in this sold-out performance include:
Someday Soon
Mountain Girl
Both Sides Now
Danny Boy
Gypsy Rover
Who Knows Where the Time Goes
Send In the Clowns
Amazing Grace
