The method develops the body uniformly, corrects bad posture, lengthens and stretches the musculature, restores and increases physical vitality, stimulates the mind and elevates the spirit.
Maria Leone, a former professional dancer has been teaching Pilates ever since 1989.Maria first encountered the work while studying dance at New York University.She has been certified to teach The Method by the PhysicalMind Institute and is a Master Teacher for studied apprenticing in The Method.As a personal trainer, she is certified by the American Council on Exercise and recently received recognition by IDEA as a Master Trainer.Maria's past and present clients include Jennifer Garner, Susan Dey, Debbie Allen, Gina Gershon, Stockard Channing, and MTV's Serena Altschul.Maria presently owns Bodyline Fitness Studio in Beverly Hills, California.
