Miles Peterson was a man who had it all: wealth, status, success.Still, something was lacking. Then, in his darkest hour, the words of a single book gave Miles Peterson the burning desire to know God.
Now, transformed by the Word of the Lord and empowered by his strength, Miles Peterson lives out a pledge to fight evil in the name of God, under the identity of the mighty avenger of truth known as Bibleman.
As the worldwide premiere of a new Bibleman comic strip approaches, a news conference is planned to announce the series and focus the media attention on God.But when the pretentious Prince of Pride catches wind of Bibleman's plans, he vows to use the superhero's own ego to destroy him.
After the prideful prince zaps Bibleman with a mega-volt ego-enhancing ray, our hero finds his modesty put to its greatest test. His comrades - intrepid sidekick Cypher and faithful computer U.N.I.C.E. - are also hit with the evil ego whammy. So is Stephen Phillips, the comic strip's talented young artist, who begins to see himself as a bit too talented.
Will a longing for the limelight make enemies out of U.N.I.C.E. and Cypher? Is our spiritual superhero any match for his new super-sized ego?Could Stephen's selfishness bring about the end of the comic strip - and of Bibleman?Or does God have a plan for Shattering the Prince of Pride?
