Mike McAdoo has been the lead guitarist for the Donny and Marie Osmond family for 6 years and won the coveted: Best Lead Guitarist at the Branson Missouri Awards show in : 1995, 1996 & 1997. He has played and recorded CD's with Mel Tillis, The Moffatts, Rex Allen Junior, The Osmonds, Shoji Tabuchi and Boxcar Willie to name a few. He is also a Peavey Guitar product endorser and has been profiled in the "Peavey Monitor." But more importantly, Mike is a full time professional guitar teacher. He currently teaches at Trapley's music in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mike really knows how to teach fingerpicking. He's had students of all ages and with every type of learning problem you can imagine. His years of experience have given him an understanding of what a beginner goes through and he's developed a system of teaching that is absolutely foolproof for everyone! Mike takes the beginning fingerpicker one step at a time staring with what fingers to use, what picks to use, the basic fingerpicking patterns, and how to learn them efficiently. You will learn beginning, picking patterns, Chet Atkins style, Merle Travis style, Flowing Style, syncopation and everything you will need to know for the right foundation in fingerpicking.
