When a slight miscalculation in his first stock car race results in a fiery crash, Sean is ready to call it quits.A mysterious stranger in a ski mask appears at his hospital bed and persuades him to test-drive a powerful prototype in the countryside.Sean becomes known as "Crash Corrigan" when the car is too much for him to handle and he crashes once again.
Invited to design his own Formula I car at a modern research center, Sean shocks everyone by racing an avalanche down a steep, snow covered mountainside.
Sean's imagination, courage and raw talent gain recognition, and he finally fulfills his dream to race in the dusk-to-dawn Monte Carlo Grand Prix.
