From blueblood socialite to Andy Warhol bad-girl, Brigid Berlin takes us on a hilarious ride through an unbelievable era.Friends and admirers such as John Waters and Patricia Hearst, as well as Berlin herself, tell the story of a high society girl who rebelled against a media mogul father and a controlling mother to star in several Andy Warhol films, most notably Chelsea Girls.As an artist in her own right, Brigid created unique performance pieces, an incorporated Polaroid pictures and audiotapes into her works before they became chic.

John Berlin through rare archival footage of the Andy Warhol scene and its hipsters, including taped conversations with Warhol himself and little-seen footage from classic Factory films.Pie in the Sky, destined to become a cult classic, takes the viewer into a world where food obsessions, pug paraphernalia, body art, drugs, and celebrity are among the many facets of an unforgettable pop figure.
