On the morning of September 11, eight men were dispatched from Rescue Station 3 in the Bronx to the World Trade Center: none of them would return. Now, surviving members of Rescue 3 must cope with the loss of their fallen brothers.
New York Firefighters follows the lives of the surviving members of Rescue 3, now drastically different after the World Trade Center attacks. Yet even amidst a maelstrom of painful reminders, from funerals to widows to now fatherless children, the men of Rescue 3 endure. Reunited they now form a group that is made up not of coworkers but of family members. These brave individuals continues to define the true meaning of heroism and humanity each and every day.
