Three Classic Episodes, Complete And Uncut
The sole survivor of a posse of Texas Rangers ambushed by a gang of desperadoes, John Reid was left for dead and nursed back to health by Tonto (Jay Silverheels), a friendly Indian whom he had once helped. With a black mask and silver bullets from the mine he discovered with his brother, one of the slain Rangers, to right the wrongs of the West as The Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore).
One of two episodes directed by Hopalong Cassidy veteran George Archainbaud, "Six Guns Legacy" finds Emmet White (James J. Hickman) reluctantly posing as his law-abiding lookalike, tenderfoot Bob Walker. Then, "The Return of the Convict" spells trouble when John Ames (John Kellogg) swears revenge on Clay Gunder (John Day) and his brother, who framed Ames for the stagecoach robbery that landed him in prison. Next, captured criminal Pete Madden's gang abducts Jim (Dickie Jones), the son of rancher Tom Patrick (Joseph Crehan), and Fred Vance (Harry Lauter) helps the ranger rescue Jim from the "Rustlers' Hideout."
