The Last Game Good Housekeeping magazine is proud to present The Last Game, a story of love, perseverance and the power of family. Hearing-impaired Christina Burton (Shearan Neville) isn't very comfortable on the basketball court, but she decides to go out for her high school team anyway in hopes of gaining acceptance from her father, Mark (Joey Travolta), and her seemingly perfect siblings. When a heart problem stops Mark from showing Christina some "moves" that will help her in her games, he asks Christina's brother Jeff to step in for him. Jeff helps Christina become a basketball star in spite of her handicap. In the process, Christina learns a series of valuable lessons -- not only about sports and the importance of working to overcome hardships, but about the true meaning of family love and loyalty.
Thinking Big Marty Johnson is a 7-year old boy with little-kid problems. He is badgered by the class bully, misunderstood by his teacher, bothered by his older sister and lectured by his well-intentioned mother. Even his father promises to take him to a baseball game and cancels out to work overtime. When Marty tells his woes to his stuffed bear "Theo", the bear comes to life and takes him to visit different "big people" settings. The lessons learned on these visits give Marty a newfound courage and understanding as he learns to "think BIG."
