Ross Tanner (Clive Owen of Croupier and Gosford Park) is a hotshot London police detective who lives for the thrill of the chase - while desperate to conceal a terrifying secret: he's losing his vision. When competitive graduate officer D.I. Catherine Tully (Claire Skinner, Inspector Morse) is drafted into the crime unit to assist on the cases, she soon realizes the nature of Tanner's secret and an uneasy alliance is formed between them.
