Three Volumes. Ten Stories. Eight Hours Of Entertainment.

In Bent, Mindscape Pictures' short film series, Boston-based writer-director Jason Santo presents three volumes of thematically diverse stories bound together by the theme that like water, the path of a life can be suddenly and unpredictably bent.

Volume One: In Marisa, a woman's promise of love dissolves into a nightmare. In the meditative dram His Life, we meet a man who has known his whole life he was to die on his 25th birthday. And in the terrifying horror picture Haunted, a group of criminals are stalked by a murderous presence in a haunted hideout.

Volume Two: In Time Heals All Wounds, a pair of friends become frozen in time by an unanswered question about lost love. In the experimental silent picture The Dinner, two couples get together for a seemingly normal dinner party that seems ripe with adulterous subtext. And in the plot-twist-laden In a Sky With No Angels, a woman is unexpectedly contacted by a now on-the-run high school acquaintance claiming to hold the secrets of life, death and the existence of God.

Volume Three: In the disturbing, experimental picture Here Comes Your Man, a man maliciously spreads HIV to women he seduces. For the lead character in Again, the home of his wife's friends is an all-too-familiar place. And in the cute, cheerful, romantic comedy More Than Money's Worth, a college co-ed is paid by a group of preps to pretend she likes the captain of their school's golf team so he can get his game back. In the bonus short Aftermath, (written & co-directed by Pat Hines) a group of teenagers cope with the loss of one of their friends in a high school shooting.
