After notorious counterfeiter Carl Banks breaks out of prison, he knows he's the most wanted man in the state. What he doesn't expect is to be nabbed by a 10-year-old. When one of Timmy Taylor's backyard traps catches Carl, Timmy sees the convict as his escape from summer school.
But it's not going to be easy keeping Carl Prisoner for the weekend. Timmy must keep the police, the Mafia, his parents and the nosy neighborhood girls from discovering he's holding a fugitive in his tree house. And if he can bring Carl to school on Monday, Timmy's sure to ace his Current Events project and avoid a summer school full of boring classes.
