The legendary Sammo Hung directs and stars in this action-filled, nostalgic homage to the John Ford westerns. Out of guilt for abandoning his birthplace, the kind-hearted drifter/pipm him returns to Hanshui Village and orchestrates a plan to derail the Shanghai Express. However, a group of train robbers are also after the train's treasures. When these bandits take over Hanshui, Chin must use his martial arts - and a little help from his friends - to save the entire town!
