A Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale

Klaus lives with his two lazy brothers in a cobbler's workshop. They leave him to do all the work by himself. One day, while chopping wood in the forest, he meets an old woman who rewards his kindness with a golden goose. The goose is endowed with a magical property that holds fast all nosy, envious and greedy people who come into contact with it.As he travels with his feathered friend, Klaus builds up quite a motley collection of hangers-on.Even a miller with his donkey becomes stuck to the strange goose. In the next town, where sheer boredom has dragged the King's daughter into the depths of despair, Klaus succeeds in making her laugh. The King, who has promised his daughter's hand in marriage to the one who dispels her despondency, poses new conditions upon seeing poor Klaus. Will Klaus be able to fulfill them?
