Extreme Summer includes rare footage and personal interviews with a special group of athletes, including a number of past and current world champions, as they challenge the most intimidating forces of nature during her most volatile year, and share "how" and "why" they challenge they limits of convention.
"Wingsurfing" -- Robbie Nash and Bjorn Dunkerbeck, the two biggest legends in the sport, travel at speeds in excess of 45 miles per hour while sailing huge El Nino strength winds and ocean swells.
"Rock Climbing" -- Learn about the art of climbing while experiencing the sport virtually from the angles of expert climbers Lynn Hill and Nancy Feagin.
"Tow-In Surfing and Surfing" -- In January 1999, El Nino hit the North Shore of Hawaii with the largest ocean swell of the century.A special group fo athletes, including Ross Clarke-Jones, 4-time World Champion Tom Carroll and a handful of others, ventured into the unknown of surfing as they "towed-in" to what some are calling the biggest waves ever surfed.
