The Corsican Brothers: Twin brothers, Lucien and Louis, are born to Count de Franchi and his wife just as their castle is attacked and destroyed. The Count, fearing for the safety of his children, stow the boys away in separate boats, giving their servants magical amulets which prove the identity of the children. After eighteen years of separation and unbeknownst of their relationship and identity, the brothers are reunited when Lucien rushes to help an injured Louis, that he knows only as a stranger.
