The James Dean Story
Produced by Robert Altman and George W. George, this highly acclaimed biography tells the story of an American legend. "An unhurried look through the photo album of a hidden young stranger one has grown curious about. It has, besides, that special fascination of any good documentary peeking at humans in spontaneous action-the almost revelatory sight of people one sees every day but never as clearly as through the camera." (Newsweek)

The Bells of Cockaigne
Originally airing in 1953 as a one-hour TV drama on the Armstrong Circle Theater, provides a rare glimpse at a young Dean in a co-staring role. It is about a man who comes to the aid of a poor family when their child is stricken with illness. Gene Lockhart and Donalee Taylor star.

Hill Number One
James Dean delivers his first televised performance as John the Baptist in Hill Number One, a 60 minute episode of the TV religious anthology Family Theatre. Father Patrick Peyton hosts this star-studded Easter Special, with an impressive cast, including Roddy McDowell, Michael Ansata, Leif Erickson, and Ruth Hussey.

I Am A Fool
I Am A Fool aired in 1953, co-stars Natalie Wood and tells the tale of a poor boy who falls in love with a rich girl. In a rare glimpse into the early career of one of Hollywood's most tragic figures, James Dean exhibits the star power that made him an American legend. Introduced by Ronald Reagan, this special marks one of Dean's first staring roles.
