A film by Allison Anders

Sherry McGrale is a struggling singer songwriter with a secret. Her angry and shocking personal music is fueled by the pain of a long-buried memory of a terrible tragedy.

When a famous rock journalist does a story on Sherry, he seems to know details about her secret that only someone who was there could know. Suddenly, she must face the painful truths she's spent her whole life frantically trying to escape.

Based on director Allison Anders' (Gas Food Lodging, Mi Vida Loca) real-life experience in early adolescence, this gripping story stars Kim Dickens (The Gift), Gabriel Mann (The Bourne Identity), Elizabeth Pena (Rush Hour), Eric Stoltz (Pulp Fiction), Rosanna Arquette (The Whole Nine Yards), and Don Cheadle (Traffic).
