Life With Father
Based on the writings of author Clarence Day's childhood in New York City during the 1880's, Life With Father stars film legend William Powell (My Man Godfrey), as the stern patriarch. This wholesome family oriented film is filled with humor and addresses many of the issues and concerns still important in raising children today as it was way back at the turn of the 20th century. Irene Dunn co-stars as the dutiful wife and a young and strikingly beautiful Elizabeth Taylor plays a girl who has fallen head over heels in love with their son. Critically acclaimed, Life With Father is a comedy for the ages showcasing the early talents of one of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Smash-Up: The Story Of A Woman
Hollywood screen legend Susan Hayward (and sister of pin-up queen Rita Hayworth), stars in this emotional story of a woman's journey down life's bumpy road. When Hayward's character Angie Evans gives up her fast rising career as a torch night club singer for the life of a happily married housewife and mother, she doesn't realize how much she'll miss the show biz buzz! When her husband's radio show goes number one, all she's got left is her memories and the bottle.Smash-Up, The Story Of A Woman is a shining example of Hollywood's early attempt to forewarn the public of alcohol abuse while spotlighting the superior talents of Susan Hayward.
