When an absent minded scientist, Alex, walks into the path of an on-coming car, Nino's dog, Rex sacrifices himself to save the man's life. To repay his debt, Alex operates on the dog and implants a computer chip giving him amazing new super powers. But some of Alex's enemies want the chip so now Rex becomes a super-dog crime fighter and may have to save Nino.
