Cult legend Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Army of Darkness) and Lori Loughlin are Jeff and Jill Erickson, your average gun-lovin' Chicago couple who rob a local bank to stave off financial ruin. Or try to - because the take is ruined when a dye pack spoils the loot. Loughlin, moving far from her images as All-American sitcom sweetheart on Full House, makes a case of insomnia work to their advantage and comes up with a new plan that nets $24,000 on their next try. From there the Bearded Bandits (as they are known thanks to their disguises) grow notorious as renaissance Robin Hoods, stealing fame and money until they have enough to buy a townhouse and a book store. But Jill's condition grows worse and she is diagnosed as manic depressive. With FBI agents Whitmire (Brad Whitford) and LaSalle (Susanna Thompson) on the case, Jeff fears Jill will spill the beans to their therapy group and pulls her out in time to address their cash flow with another robbery. Crime, however, doesn't pay and it all goes down in an inglorious blaze of bullets.
