Oscar-nominated film The Day After Trinity is a haunting journey through the dawn of the Nuclear Age, an incisive history of the Manhattan Project and the man behind it- J. Robert Oppenheimer, the principal architect of the atomic bomb.

Since the first nuclear weapon exploded into the desert sky over New Mexico, we have struggled to understand and cope with the specter of its awesome power.Did we become prisoners of this technological monster we created? This incredible drama examines the life of Oppenheimer and the development of the bomb, from its beginnings as the weapon to defeat the Axis powers through the aftermath of it use on Japan. Finally, it focuses on Oppenheimer's opposition to the continued development of nuclear weapons during the McCarthy era of the 1950's.

Featuring archival footage and commentary from scientists and soldiers directly involved with the Manhattan Project, this gripping film is a fascinating look at the scope and power of the Nuclear Age.
