Cynthia and her slacker boyfriend, Buck, are on the road to nowhere. After trying to make it in a world of struggling musicians and seedy clubs, Cynthia takes a job as caretaker of the beautiful, wealthy, but terminally ill Eleanor Dunston (Joely Richardson). Eleanor's rich world seduces Cynthia and Buck until the two scheme to romance Eleanor into marrying Buck and bequeathing her fortune. But the strange triangle develops into something no one expected when each falls deeply in love. An unforgettably beautiful and surprisingly sensual film that you'll never forget
