Kyle Rivers, a young agent with the Department of Defense assigned to investigate scientist Lana Hawking (Sean Young), for a Top Secret security clearance, discovers there is more to her than appears.
Kyle’s investigation reveals Lana’s lavish lifestyle doesn’t coincide with her monetary means suggesting she may be involved in the sale of government secrets. As the two develop a friendship, Lana learns of Kyle’s inquiries and frames Kyle, causing her to be suspended from the agency. Disenchanted, Kyle embarks on an investigation of her own, embracing a world of false identity, incest and personal betrayal.
