A Compulsively True Comedy

If attraction is chemical, can sex become an addiction?

What constitutes the line between enjoying sex and becoming obsessed with it? Director Caveh Zahedi gives us his take on the answer in this comic reconstruction of his ten-year struggle to stay loyal to one woman. Written and film in the hilariously deadpan style he's known for, Zahedi turns the camera on himself as he explores his romantic and sexual history that grew increasingly complicated with each new infidelity.

I Am A Sex Addict is a film that Mick LaSalle of the San Francisco Chronicle says "Just might be the truest film about addiction, or any kind, that has ever been made."
