"A wide ranging tale of disgrace, redemption, love lost and love found." -All Movie Guide

Academy Award Nominated Actress Merle Oberon (Wuthering Heights, That Uncertain Feeling) heads up an all-star cast in the romantic musical drama Broken Melody! Young friends Germaine (Oberon) and Paul (John Garrick) are two struggling musicians working to make ends meet in the big city. Secretly in love with Paul, Germaine only wants to see him succeed as a musical composer and suggests that he write pop numbers instead of classical compositions. When Paul's new music catches the ear of famous stage actress Simone St. Claire (Margot Grahame), he is quickly swept up into a whirlwind romance with her, leaving poor Germaine behind as he experiences the ups and downs of instant fame. But when the dust finally settles and Paul finds himself at rock bottom, will those who truly care about him still be there?
