In the future, death is only the beginning.
It is the near future, Moscow. The city is ruled by gangsters and corrupt policemen. The streets strangled with crime, violence and fear. Entrepreneur John Wade (Rugter Hauer, Bladerunner) sees no harm in making a fast buck smuggling illegal silicon “fantasy” chips for cyberjunkies. But his partner, Merrick (Mark Dacascos, TV’s “The Crow, Stairway to Heaven”), betrays Wade and kills him.
End of story…that is, until Russian authorities use experimental biosynthetic cyber-implants to resurrect Wade in order to interrogate him about Troika, the subeversive underworld syndicate poised to take over the country.
Escaping interrogation, Wade wants his money and a piece of Merrick! But now that Merrick has joined forces with Troika, Wade finds that in this city of the future, there is nowhere he can turn, no one he can trust. As Wade dodges assassins, scavenger bounty hunters and government agents, it looks like his “new life” won’t last very long…but he’s not going down alone!
