A Journey Of Faith & Hope

The Rivers Run is an epic saga of a family's love for each other and the river on which they live. It proves a family bond is as strong during hardships as it is in happy times. This Australian adventure is set into action when a charming American, Cyrus James (played by Parker Stevenson of The Hardy Boys), encounters the Philadelphia riverboat at the turn of the century. Cyrus quickly befriends the skipper Brenton Edwards (John Waters of Breaker Morant) and his family, who are proud and happy to work the river. But when Brenton is unjustly sent to prison, Mrs. Edwards must do everything she can to make ends meet. Despite additional help from Cyrus, the Edwards family struggles to remain together amid various emotional and geographic hurdles. Issues of morality and lessons in life are woven into an exciting plot that has as many twists and turns as the river itself!
