In the tradition of Dangerous Liaisons, this extraordinary film embarks on a passionate and intriguing journey into the nature of romance.

Romantic, exciting costume-drama, set in early 1900s France, features the beautiful and talented Sela Ward (The Fugitive) who meets her match in the dashing, handsome Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights).

A woman's romantic interest in a former flame is rekindled-until she discovers, much to her dismay, that he had an affair with one of her new employees-a nanny, of all things! And so the game begins, as the two women engage in many well-mannered accusations and innuendo-filled conversations-with Dalton left in the middle...or possibly on the outside?
