Triple Feature DVD

One of the greatest film directors of the silent era, F.W. Murnau was as influential and essential an artist as any number of his better-known and more prolific contemporaries. Many of his German-made films are lost, but two surviving classics are featured in this special DVD edition.

Nosferatu:
Banned in Sweden, this still-chilling and strongly unauthorized version of Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula, is critically acclaimed as one of F.W. Murnau's cinematic milestones.

The Last Laugh:
A bitterly ironic chronicle of a proud old doorman of a posh hotel who is stripped of his prized job, his self-esteem, and his prestige when he is demoted to men's washroom attendant of the hotel.

Der Golem:
A clay statue from 16th century Prague is found in the rubble of an old synagogue in the 20th century. Brought to life by an antique dealer, the golem is used as a menial servant until it goes on a murderous rampage over an unrequited love.
