One day a busload of tourists sank into the ground… So did a few buildings, the police, and the choicest beauties in Paris, France!!

What would you do if your daughter, two policemen, a bus load of American tourists and some of the world's most famous landmarks were swallowed up by the city of Paris? Would you go to the local police? If you did, would they dismiss your claim as madness? Would you go to the government? Don't bother, they're too busy trying to drain the Seine River and turn it into a freeway. So what would you do? You'd go underground…really underground!

That's where Rodin, a humble bookshop owner and local historian, finds himself in this madcap comedy filled with bungling police, complete with it's own comedic Captain Nemo and France's most beloved export since the Statue of Liberty - Gerard Depardieu (Green Card, Going Places, Cyrano De Bergerac)!
