He Rules Over A Lawless Town

Dean Martin, George Peppard, and two-time Oscar nominee Jean Simmons star in this Western about a former lawman gone bad. Alex Flood (Martin) once helped clean up Jericho, but now he owns 510f every business in town, except for the stage line run by Molly Lang (Simmons), an attractive widow on whom Flood has now set his sights. It's up to ex-Deputy U.S. Marshal Dolan (Peppard) to stop him, with Western stars John McIntire and Slim Pickens on opposite sides of the brutal battle. Arnold Laven directed this hard-hitting sagebrush saga, co-written by Marvin H. Albert, who adapted his novel The Man in Black with Sydney Boehm.
