Iris lost her mother, now she's losing herself.

Iris (Academy Award® Nominee Samantha Morton) is a beautiful and sensual 19 year-old woman with emotions and passions raging deep within her. The sudden death of her mother (Rita Tushingham) and its effect on her intensely jealous relationship with her sister, Rose (Claire Rushbrook) set off a chain reaction. Her repressed passions take over, sending Iris down a path of sexual exploration and danger…

Bordering on bizarre, Iris resists the natural grieving process by dressing in her mother's old fur coat and blonde wig and embarking on a series of one night stands. Spiraling into a dark abyss of obsession and self destruction, Iris' life and salvation become entwined with the sister she despises and Iris' need to confront the demons of her past.
