In 1969, Some marched for peace. Some marched for equality. They marched for love.

From Nigel Finch, executive producer of Paris is Burning, comes a new film with love in its heart, respect on its mind, and pumps on its feet.
With a great soundtrack featuring the music of The shangri-Las , Patti LaBelle and Judy Garland, Stonewall mixes a lip-syncing chorus with a "Midnight Cowboy" sensibility.
Its story folllows Matty Dean, a self-made hustler who moves to New York's Greenwich Village to find himself. Instead, he finds love with a transvestite named La Miranda, rage with the attitudes of the local police, and an absolute belief that one man can make a difference.
