Medieval travelers tunnel through Earth and burst into the Twentieth Century.

The Navigator begins in 14th-century England, where the dreaded Black Death is wiping out cities all over Europe.A group of desperate villagers, led by the mystic visions of a young boy, sets off for a remote cave where they hope to find the answer to escaping this deadly plague. The villagers tunnel through the cave and emerge suddenly in a bustling 20th-century city. These time travelers from the Middle Ages are overwhelmed by the dazzling technology of the modern world, encountering automobiles on super-highways, television, and even a nuclear submarine.Somehow, they must survive the perils of this alien world in order to return and save their medieval village from certain death.
